Activities for virtual students at home

Parents must submit photo evidence of all completed activities on Seesaw or to my email: MrTaraza@olqmnyc.org

First Houses (Monday & Tuesday)


Children will glue popsicle sticks or any straight edge to craft a 2 dimensional house.

 

Materials:

 

Construction Paper

Glue

Popsicle Sticks or any straight edge if you don't have popsicle sticks.

Paint/Paintbrush(Optional if you want to paint the sticks)

 

● Goal P-PMP 3. Child demonstrates increasing control, strength, and coordination of small muscles.


STEM Building Activity (Wednesday & Thursday)



Use Popsicle sticks or toothpicks and playdough for children to build three dimensional structure. Children can insert the sticks into balls of the playdough to create the structures.

 

Materials:

 

Popsicle sticks or tooth picks

Playdough or marshmallows

 

● Goal P-PMP 3. Child demonstrates increasing control, strength, and coordination of small muscles.

 

● Goal P-ATL 10. Child demonstrates initiative and independence.
