Activities for virtual students at home:

Parents MUST send me all pictures of completed Activities

Sensory Foam Paint/Finger Painting




Children will explore sensory foam paint to illustrate and name an object that they see.

 

Materials


  • paper towel
  • sensory foam paint
  • tray

 

Place a paper towel onto a tray. Supply different colors of sensory foam to paint with.

Literacy/Fine Motor Name Activity



Children will glue and paste pieces of marshmallows on construction paper with the letters of their name.


Materials


  • Marshmallows
  • Glue
  • Construction Paper
  • Pencil to trace letters

● Goal P-LIT 2. Child demonstrates an understanding of how print is used (functions of print) and the rules that govern how print works (conventions of print).


Math Zoom Lesson: Numeration/Cardinality



Numeration and Cardinality

 

Children will blindly draw a from a mixed set of numbers and match the picture of snowmen to the corresponding number.

 

● Goal P-MATH 2. Child recognizes the number of objects in a small set.

 

● Goal P-MATH 3. Child understands the relationship between numbers and quantities.
