This weeks focus is "Others" (Care)
- Cause and effect – learning about how water moves
- Care taking – learning how to care for others
- Sensory – this activity is deeply rooted in sensory
- Empathy – showing kindness and affection to another

Ladybug Craft/Math(Wednesday & Thursday)
Ladybug Craft (Part 1) - Wednesday
Paint the first paper plate red, and let dry.
Paint the second paper plate black and let it dry.
Cut up to 12 small black circles for dots which will be used for tomorrow.
Cut the red paper plate in half.
Place the red halves over the black plate and spread apart like wings. (The black part under should look like a V shape now)
Staple together and add a round shape for head and eyes on top.
Materials:
Paper Plate
Red Paint
Black Paint
Paint brush
Scissors
Stapler
● Goal P-PMP 3. Child demonstrates increasing control, strength, and coordination of small muscles.
Ladybug Craft (Part 2) - Thursday
Roll dice and count total. Possoble outcomes are 1-12.
Give child the total number of small black circles rolled to paste on their plate. After pasting all the dots, have child point and count and then say the total and write the number on the plate. If they want to add more dots its fine. Just recount and write the total.
Materials:
Dice
Glue
Dots
● Goal P-MATH 1. Child knows number names and the count sequence.
● Goal P-MATH 3. Child understands the relationship between numbers and quantities.
Children will practice writing the letters of their name.

● Goal P-LIT 6. Child writes for a variety of purposes using increasingly sophisticated marks
● Goal P-PMP 3. Child demonstrates increasing control, strength, and coordination of small muscles.
