Friday, May 14th - Early Dismissal Day 12:00 noon for all students, all grades.

Upload evidence of student work onto Seesaw as frequently as possible.

Activities for virtual students at home

Practice Cutting Shapes (Monday & Tuesday) *See PDF in E-Mail


Art/Literacy Activity (Wednesday)


Fold a paper in half

 

On one side ask the child to draw a picture of when they were small or a baby.

 

On the other side, ask child to draw themself now.

 

Prompt child to respond to the following and record thier answers under their drawings.

 

When I was a baby, I used to...

 

Now that I am bigger, I can...

 

● Goal P-ATL 12. Child expresses creativity in thinking and communication.

 

● Goal P-LIT 6. Child writes for a variety of purposes using increasingly sophisticated marks.


Children will color and cut out each shape. After all shapes have been cut. Ask chilkdren to paste them on a piece of paper and name each shape they cut. Write down what they say.

 

● Goal P-PMP 3. Child demonstrates increasing control, strength, and coordination of small muscles.

 

● Goal P-MATH 9. Child identifies, describes, compares, and composes shapes

Writing and Tracing Our Names (Thursday & Friday)


Children will practice writing the letters of their name.

 

Materials:


Pencil/Marker/Crayon/Color Pencil

● Goal P-PMP 3. Child demonstrates increasing control, strength, and coordination of small muscles.
