Rainbow Fish Arts & Crafts (Tuesday & Wednesday)

(Part 1)

 

Children will color and decorate their own rainbow fish using any colors they'd like.

 

Materials:

 

Blue Construction Paper

Rainbow Fish Clipart

Crayons/Markers/Color pencils

Tissue Paper

Pipe Cleaners

Glue

Any kind of decoratives (Glitter, Pom Poms)

 

If none of the materials are readily available at home. Draw your own rainbow fish and use as many colors as you can find.


(Part 2)

 

Children will add any decorative design they'd like to their rainbow fish and add ocean life details (plants, fish, scales, seahorses, etc.) to thier blue paper.

 

● Goal P-PMP 3. Child demonstrates increasing control, strength, and coordination of small muscles.

"Color Mixing Emotions Painting" - Seed Germination (Thursday & Friday)


Color Mixing Emotions Painting

 

Children will explore color mixing to pain different emotions. We will be using various techniques such as using white and black to create light and dark colors.

 

Materials:

 

Paintbrush
Paper

Primary Colors (Red, Yellow, Blue)

 

Children will paint emotions (Happy, Sad, Angry, Scared, Sleepy, Excited)

 

● Goal P-SCI 3. Child compares and categorizes observable phenomena.

 


● Goal P-PMP 3. Child demonstrates increasing control, strength, and coordination of small muscles.
